Michael Jackson
April 2017
Evolution

This exhibition launched Michael's iron sculptures to the public for the very first time and also showcased his development experimenting with different approaches and media in his portrait paintings.

The fifteen iron sculptures exhibited were formed from unusual discarded pieces of iron, some over a century in age which gave them a unique patina and texture. These incredible works of art consolidated Michael's reputation not only as an outstanding artist but also as an incredibly talented sculptor.
