Therese James
A Sense of Community

5th-27th October 2018

This exhibition touches on how we connect.

Some of the paintings reflect how life was like in small towns and villages when Therese was growing up, others are more spiritual paintings which Therese describes as moments when we are 'at one' with the world.

Therese spoke with Sian James, Anne Scargill and Betty Cook for her inspiration for The Miners' Strike Collection, which celebrates the community during the 1984 miners' strike and how they generally stood side by side through those hard times together.

All of the paintings are now available to purchase.
