Outin, Pierre

Born 1840 at Moulins on the banks of the Allier river in Central France, Pierre Outin studied under Charles Lecointe and Alexander Chabanel in Paris and developed a proficiency in both style and technique.

Very rarely do his paintings appear on the art market but are permanently on display in the museum of his home town in Moulins. Outin died in Paris in 1899.
